Twenty-five years of shows – and now, a date to wrap it all up.

Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions confirmed Friday that the talk-show queen will air the final episode of her iconic daytime TV program, The Oprah Winfrey Show, on May 25.

The show has been in reruns lately, but Winfrey, 57, Tweeted last week that she is hard at work on the final six weeks of episodes, with all-new shows returning April 7.

“Hard at work planning the final shows – can’t wait to share w/ u all!” she wrote.

There’ll be no rest for the weary after May 25, though. Winfrey, of course, now has her own cable station, the Oprah Winfrey Network, to run.
