Anderson via ZUMA Wire Sorry gymnastics fans, Simone Biles will not be competing on season 23 of Dancing with the Stars. After the Olympian’s golden Games in Rio, rumors started flying that Biles would be competing for the Mirrorball Trophy when the new season starts in September, but now she has put those rumors to bed. “With the tour going on, the fall [season] will be very, very hard to attend, so I can’t do that one,” Biles told Extra on Tuesday. But don’t count her out from competing on a future season. “I’m hoping for the spring [season],” said the 19-year-old. “If they would allow me to do that – that would be awesome.” No stars have been officially announced as joining season 23 yet but eight of the pro dancers were revealed on Good Morning America on Tuesday. Val Chmerkovskiy, Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold and Sasha Farber, Allison Holker and Gleb Savchenko will all be out on the dance floor in just a few weeks. Season 23 of DWTS premieres Sept. 12 on ABC.
