Kate Hudson‘s big brother has her back.

Oliver Hudson refused to spill on Kate’s rumored romance with Nick Jonas during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday.

“There are things my sister and I don’t talk about,” Oliver, 39, said after host Andy Cohen asked if Kate and the “Jealous” crooner are really “canoodling.”

Although both Jonas and Oliver star on Scream Queens (the former in a recurring role, but we won’t spoil the latest episode for you too much), the actor said he’s never actually met him, officially dispelling speculation that he set them up.

Hudson herself skirted around answering Cohen’s questions about the duo’s relationship when she appeared on the show last month.

“I don’t like addressing any kind of gossip,” the actress replied at the time.

Hudson, 36, and Jonas, 23, were first linked in September, when they were photographed spending the day at Disney World. Then, in October, the stars were spotted partying together in New York.

Oliver did give some dish on the new setup of a potential Scream Queens season 2.

“I have an idea. It’s so scary! I’m scared to reveal anything,” Oliver said. “But we don’t even know if it’s going to be picked up or whatever, but I think it’s summer camp.”

And in other family news, he said he has reconnected with estranged father Bill Hudson, who he slammed in an Instagram post last Father’s Day.

“Happy abandonment day,” he captioned an old photo of Bill embracing him and Kate as kids.

Asked by Cohen is he regretted the post, Oliver said, “No, and I’ll tell you why. … It actually started a dialogue, that I haven’t talked to my father in 12 years. And in my dark, crazy sense of humor, I posted this ‘happy abandonment day thing’ which everyone went crazy about you know and I was just trying to be funny. And at the end of the day it was a good thing. … We’re communicating now, I had an amazing three-hour conversation with him and uh, we’re texting and you know, we’re trying to see each other so… it might be mending.”

WWHL airs Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on Bravo, and Scream Queens airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
