Nicholas Brendon is not having a good year.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star, 43, was arrested (for the second time this year) in Florida on Friday night for allegedly damaging property and criminal mischief, according to a report filed by the Tallahassee police.

Brendon was in town to sign autographs at the ALT*Con “Geek Convention,” when police reports show he called the cops at around 11 p.m., complaining that his phone and wallet had been stolen from his hotel room.

When an officer arrived to the hotel, the manager told police that “a celebrity guest, Nicholas Brendon, has taken pills and alcohol while he has been at the hotel today. He was walking around the hotel with blood on him and his clothes torn and wet from a toilet overflow he created [in a hotel room],” according to the report.

Soon afterwards, the actor arrived in the hotel lobby – with his clothes reportedly torn and wet, as the manager had described – to speak with the officer, and according to the report, he withdrew his claim that his wallet and cell phone had been stolen.

Brendon was then escorted by police to his hotel room, where the officer reported immediately spotting the actor’s wallet in plain sight on the hotel room’s desk.

“While in Mr. Brendon’s presence I observed him with toothpaste all over his face and shirt, his pants were torn, he had defecated on himself and the pajama pants were wet below the knees,” the officer stated in the arrest file.

Police also observed a bottle of sleeping pills in the room. The prescription had been filled for 10 pills that day, and at the time the officer discovered the bottle, there was only one pill left, according to the report.

In addition to the room where Brendon’s “missing” wallet was found, the actor had also allegedly destroyed another room in the hotel that night.

Earlier that day, the hotel manager told police that Brendon had requested a room upgrade because of “his status as a TV star.” The police officer writes that he went to this “upgraded” room in search of Brendon’s phone, where he reports finding the following scene:

“The furniture in the room had been damaged and turned upside down. There was a porcelain decorative piece that appeared to be thrown against the wall that was shattered on the floor. The door to the dresser area was ripped off, the phone was pulled out of the wall socket and the bed was flipped off of its rails. The floor in the bathroom area was covered in water and it was flowing over onto the carpet.”

The officer estimates the damages between $200 and $1000.

Not long after discovering the damage to the room, Brendon was placed under arrest.

Sadly, this situation is all too familiar to the Criminal Minds actor. He was placed under arrest for drunkenly trashing a hotel room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in February, according to a complaint affidavit obtained by PEOPLE. He was charged with grand theft and criminal mischief.

He was also was arrested at a fan event in Boisie, Idaho, in October and later apologized, blaming his erratic behavior on mixing pain medication with alcohol.

“I intend to seek appropriate treatment and therapy for my medical ailments as well as my emotional demons,” he wrote on Facebook at the time.

The actor also recently split from his wife Moonda Tee in February after five months of marriage.
