New RHOD Housewife Tiffany Moon Makes Her Debut in Season 5 Trailer: 'Saddle Up'
There's a new Housewife in Dallas!
"SADDLE UP because I'm the newest Housewife!" she wrote on Instagram alongside a clip. "#RHOD returns Tuesday, January 5th on @BravoTV! ⭐ Here's a sneak peek at the Season 5 trailer. For the full trailer, head to BravoTV.com! (Hermes makes saddles, right?) 🤠."
This season will also welcome real estate agent Jennifer Davis Long as a friend of the Housewives. She shared the news on Instagram, writing: "Welcome to the show 🤩 I am beyond blessed and THRILLED to be joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Dallas ❤️🌟 Come along with us for the ride, JANUARY 5TH 😘 #rhod."
In the trailer, Tiffany wastes no time inserting herself into the drama as the women resume their shenanigans amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. "I've got to say, it's been really nice having a doctor around," Stephanie says at one point, to which Kary pointedly remarks, "Has it?"
Later, Kary adds, "All she does is give orders," before accusing Tiffany of being "two-faced."
Tiffany, an anesthesiologist, was born in a small town just outside of Beijing, China, and moved to the United States when she was 6 years old. The product of extreme "Tiger Parents," Bravo teased, she graduated college at 19 and medical school at 23, where she finished in the top ten percent of her class.
Introduced to the ladies by D'Andra, Tiffany struggles to find the balance between her demanding job as a frontline worker during the pandemic and being a wife and a mother to her 5-year-old twin girls.
"I want to give them the childhood that I never had," Tiffany says in the trailer with tears in her eyes.
In addition to her career in medicine, the Bravo newbie often promotes her small business ventures on Instagram, which includes candles, face masks and scrub caps.
In addition to welcoming Tiffany and Jennifer into the cast, the upcoming season sets up some interesting trajectories for the other women, as well.
Stephanie finds herself at odds with her husband, Travis, as she attempts to launch her own foundation. Kameron similarly butts heads with her husband while the couple searches for a buyer so that they can purchase their dream house.
Meanwhile, D'Andra struggles to reconcile with some of her family members and enlists the help of a Shaman to learn forgiveness, while Kary tries to heal her relationship with her mother.
The Real Housewives of Dallas season 5 premieres Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
