NBC Sports' Josh Elliott Engaged to Liz Cho

The former GMA host popped the question to his girlfriend of two years, WABC's Eyewitness News anchor Liz Cho

Josh Elliott is officially off the market.

A source close to the NBC Sports newsman confirms to PEOPLE that Elliott popped the question to his girlfriend of two years, WABC’s Eyewitness News anchor Liz Cho, during a recent vacation.

“Liz is wearing a simple band of personal significance to Josh,” adds the source of the happy couple.

This will be the second marriage for both Cho and Elliott. Cho was formerly married to Evan Gottlieb and has a daughter, Louisa Simone, 7, while Elliott, 43, also has a daughter, Sarina, 6, with his ex-wife, Priya Narang.

While the couple have kept mostly mum on the happy news, Elliott’s former GMA colleague Sam Champion couldn’t help but wish the newly engaged pair all the best.

“Im not going to b at work tomorrow. @JoshElliott32 and @LizCho7 announced their engagement tnite!!” he Tweeted on Monday.

Elliott then retweeted his pal, adding, “Friends get no better ”
