Beyoncé pulled off a “flawless” surprise appearance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards – and with daughter Blue Ivy in tow.

The Lemonade singer – who is nominated for 11 VMAs – hit the red carpet in a stunning sequined and feathered mint dress, holding the hand of 4½-year-old Blue, who looked fit to be a princess in a tulle dress.

Beyoncé also brought many of the women and girls featured in the visual album, including Quvenzhané Wallis, Chloe and Halle Bailey, Ava Clarke and Winnie Harlow.

Trayvon Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, and Michael Brown’s mother, Lezley McSpadden, among other mothers of black men who were killed by police, were also on the red carpet with Beyoncé.

The women appeared in Lemonade, as well.

Just ahead of the red carpet, MTV announced that the pop diva would be attending and performing.

It seems Beyoncé’s surprises just keep getting better. Earlier this year, she delivered unexpected and amazing performances at the Super Bowl 50 Halftime show and the 2016 B.E.T. Awards.

Plus, we can’t forget about her surprise self-titled album in 2013 and Lemonade.
