Adele and Beyoncé earn a combined 19 nods at this year's awards

Looks like it’s going to be ladies night at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Nominations have been announced for the 2016 awards and if you didn’t already guess, Beyoncé and Adele rule supreme.

Beyoncé earned a career-best 11 nominations for videos from her visual album Lemonade, while Adele scored eight nominations, including seven for her record-shattering hit “Hello.”
