The singer confirmed she will star in Woody Allen’s new series for Amazon with an enthusiastic post on Instagram Monday. “F–k yeah! Stoked to be in Woody Allen‘s first series!!!!!” Cyrus, 23, wrote alongside a photo of a painting resembling the 80-year-old famed director. “I had claimed 2016 to be my year of ‘chillin the f–k out’ but next to my bed for a few years now has been this portrait of W.A.,” she added. “I was looking into his eyes when I got the call to be apart of the cast and work alongside the bad a$$ Elaine May & da dude himself!” https://www.instagram.com/p/BA-9AWQwzDC/ The six half-hour-episode series, which has yet to be named, marks the first time Cyrus has collaborated with Allen. The most recent project she was featured in was Netflix’s A Very Murray Christmas. Filming will begin in March, according to Deadline. 2016 is already becoming a memorable year as Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth‘s engagement is officially back on. “Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again,” a source told PEOPLE. “It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months.”
