It will be a night of the golden moonman as Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, and the cast of High School Musical 3 present this year’s winners with the signature statues at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Scarlett Johansson, gold medalist Michael Phelps, and Ciara will also be on hand to present at the show, airing on Sept. 7 from L.A.’s Paramount Pictures Studios.

Audience members and viewers will jam to live drum beats and scratched records by Travis Barker and DJ AM. “I Kissed a Girl” singer Katy Perry, rapper Lupe Fiasco, and The Ting Tings, along with other musical guests, will join the duo to perform new and old hits in celebration of the past 25 years of music.

Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers, Pink and Lil Wayne are also scheduled to hit the stage for musical performances.

Comedian and actor Russell Brand will serve as host.
