Mike Myers has consulted his inner awards show guru and found peace.

“I have learned to have way more fun doing these shows,” says Myers, who’ll once again host the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night. “And I’m already excited. I think the last time … it was nerve-racking. Now I know exactly what it is, and it’s just fun.”

This year, Myers will be sharing the stage with presenters including Lindsay Lohan, Katharine McPhee and Anne Hathaway and Zac Efron, and performers like the Pussycat Dolls and Coldplay.

And the seasoned MTV Movie Awards host promises that there will be plenty of film pieces that “were a blast to do,” along with a lineup that will focus on a core number of comedic gems.

“There’s a lot of props and stunts and stuff like that,” says the Love Guru star, whose favorite awards skit was his “Lord of the Dance” spoof in 1997. “But I now will have a few key ones and not … a million complications.”

Nominees this year include Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, Will Smith and Juno‘s Ellen Page and Michael Cera.

Though Myers is loathe to spill too much about the upcoming event, he did promise that squeamish viewers won’t have to worry too much about stumbling upon one of his signature routines during the presentation.

“I’ve not done anything in my underwear,” says the actor, 45. “You’ve seen the full expanse of my underwear in the promo.”
