Michiel Huisman: What Happened When I Kissed Gisele Bündchen for Chanel No. 5

The Game of Thrones star talks about working with Gisele and Baz for Chanel No. 5

It certainly isn’t the worst thing he’s ever had to do for a paycheck.

Game of Thrones star Michiel Huisman got to cuddle up extra close to supermodel Gisele Bündchen for their Chanel No. 5 commercial “The One That I Want,” directed by Baz Luhrmann.

“I was like, ‘Are you kidding me with Baz and Gisele? For a brand so classy?’ I was so honored to be a part of it,” Huisman tells PEOPLE.

That said, he was a little surprised to work off script for the commercial.

“There must have been some sort of script, and I also asked them a couple of times for it, but it seems to me like Baz just wanted to talk me through it,” Huisman says. “It always felt a little bit more like an artsy short or something … more than a commercial. I remember coming to New York for the fittings, meeting Gisele and Baz and then he just talked us through it. We created a little bit of a story to feed our imagination a little bit.”

Huisman said there won’t be a sequel – not that his wife, actress Tara Elders, had any problem with the first one.

“Chanel is amazing to work for and they’re so generous, so my wife is very happy,” Huisman says.
