Entertainment TV Matt LeBlanc on How He Knows He'll Be 'Friends' Forever with Matthew Perry "I can not see him for five years and then put me in a room with him and it'd be like I saw him yesterday," the actor said of his former costar By Christina Dugan Ramirez Christina Dugan Ramirez Writer-Reporter, TV People Editorial Guidelines Published on August 10, 2016 07:30 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Dave Benett/Getty These two Friends will always be there for each other. During the 2016 Summer TCA press tour, Matt LeBlanc explained how his friendship with Friends costar Matthew Perry will forever stand the test of time. “I saw him yesterday,” the actor said of his run-in with 46-year-oldPerry. “He’s one stage away. I love that guy. I love all five of them. We spent a lot of time together.” It seems as if the memories are flowing especially now that LeBlanc, who is currently filming for the new CBS sitcom Man With A Plan, is working in close quarters with Perry, who is filming for The Odd Couple. “I can not see him for five years and then put me in a room with him and it’d be like I saw him yesterday,” LeBlanc, 49, said. “We still short hand with one another. It’s amazing. Ten years in a building with no windows with the door locked, we got to know each other pretty well.” Earlier this year, the beloved Friends cast (sans Perry) reunited for NBC’s James Burrows tribute. “We’ve had a long history together and for them to show up in support in honor of me was so great,” James Burrows previously told Entertainment Weekly. Man with A Plan premieres October 24 (8:30/7:30c) on CBS.
