After her last relationship left her with a broken heart, Lillian Vilchez focused on her career, but the real estate agent is now ready to find lasting love with Tom Wilson, a yacht interior specialist, on ‘Married at First Sight’ (a social experiment show where couples meet for the first time on their wedding day). The newlyweds are alternating each week blogging exclusively about the ups and downs of marriage for PEOPLE. Check back after every episode and follow them on Twitter: @Lillian_MAFS and @Tom_MAFS!

Hello everyone! I’m so stoked to be writing my blog because it’s been a really long week and it’s finally time to enjoy a cocktail (or seven) and relax! We had some hurricane swell roll in recently and I missed the first couple of days, but I did get some time in the water today. Feeling the pulse of the planet, seeing and playing with the animals can turn any bad day into a good one and it makes life worth living for me. Plus, I’ve got all my limbs, so life is good!

In regards to married life, right now it’s becoming harder and harder – mainly because Lilly and I are actually really starting to understand that we are married. This wasn’t a crazy dream that we married a stranger … it’s totally real! Lilly is a girl who is very protective of her heart because her heart has been broken too many times. Knowing this, I want to protect her heart as well.

One morning I woke up and Lilly wasn’t home. She’s usually good at communicating but on this particular day, she left me with zero communication and was so worried. Later on, I found out that she had been with her doctor discussing her shoulder injury from a past car accident. She was hit from behind in her car and her neck and shoulder had some serious injuries. Surgery was the worst-case scenario, and it became a quickly approaching reality for Lilly.

Lilly is sensitive and prone to anxiety, so I want to be as supportive as possible. As soon as she came home, she informed me of what her physician said and I wanted to discuss the lack of communication.

“I’m here to support you any way I can because I care so much about you,” I said to her with complete honesty.

Rachel DeAlto then stopped by to give us a helping hand – and I’m so glad she did. She helped mediate everything that Lilly and I were going through. She also gave us a little assignment: Body paint!!

Hahaha OMG! This was a first for me, so I decided to have fun with it. I got our room ready and brought Lilly in to try all this fun, sticky, sweet body paint out. I took my shirt off, looked at Lilly and asked, “So are you ready for my tongue to be all over you??”

Lilly replied, “Are the cameras gonna leave?!?!”

We agreed, unanimously, that we’d need to keep things PG.

But the body paint was sticky … and it was as sweet as honey. I found out that when Lilly applied it to my nipples, I giggled like a little girl. Apparently, my nipples are super ticklish!! Not like a “turn you on” tickle, either – it was like an “Oh my God, please stop I’m gonna pee myself” tickle!

But we had a great time! It was a fun thing to try. I’d recommend for any couple to try the same exercise. Get some chocolate and a little brush and give it a try!

Giggity!!

Right now, though, I’m exhausted from my surf session, and I can’t wait to crawl into bed with Lilly. Hopefully, there will be waves in the morning!
