Married at First Sight Sneak Peek: David Norton Still Has Faith in His Marriage After Learning Ashley Doherty Is Not Attracted to Him
The new spouses face what could be a relationship deal-breaker in an exclusive sneak peek
The couples on Married at First Sight are learning that a successful relationship is a two-way street.
In an exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday night’s episode, Ashley Doherty addresses the elephant in the room when she sits her husband David Norton down to admit she’s not attracted to him.
“I just don’t want to make David feel bad, I don’t want to hurt his feelings, I don’t want to hurt him, and I feel like there’s no way around talking about lack of physical attraction,” Doherty says.
And while Norton admitted their conversation “sucked,” he has faith that he and Doherty can mend their marriage.
“I still like my wife, I still care very deeply for Ashley and I just don’t want us to fight. It’s gonna be extremely to find an answer to this, but I do believe an answer exists – there has to be,” says David.
Earlier in the season, Doherty revealed Norton’s looks are not typically the features she falls for, but still decided to make the relationship work.
“He’s not the typical look that I normally date. The men that I date usually have dark hair, usually dark features,” says Doherty. “Ideally there needs to be some sort of physical attraction.”
