Dancing With the Stars pro dancers Mark Ballas and Derek Hough surprised the Sunday brunch guests at Spaghettini Italian Grill and Jazz Club in Southern California’s Seal Beach, where the two performed with their band, Almost Amy.

The long-time best friends belted out original tunes like “RainFall,” “Love London” and “Get Through,” not to mention covers (including a fun version of “Mustang Sally”) to a packed house that included Ballas’s current Dancing partner, Kristi Yamaguchi, and her hubby, NHL star Bret Hedican, as well as Ballas’s former partner and girlfriend, Sabrina Bryan.

Ballas, 21, told PEOPLE that while he and Hough love to dance — no kidding! — music is definitely their other passion. “It’s really the direction we want to go in the future. We love the show, but we won’t be dancing forever,” he said.

In the works for the duo is a CD they hope to release soon. In the meantime, fans can hear a few of Almost Amy’s original tunes on their MySpace Celebrity Blog.

Following Almost Amy’s Sunday morning set, Hough, Ballas and Yamaguchi posed for photos with fans and granted the wishes of an endless parade of autograph seekers. After each signing, Yamaguchi dutifully instructed her fans, “Don’t forget to vote.” — Monica Rizzo
