Mama June Breaks Down in Tears, Accuses Boyfriend Geno Doak of Sexting Other Women
Mama June Shannon and Geno Doak were both arrested in March
The drama continues for “Mama June” Shannon.
In a clip from Friday’s episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot, the reality star accuses her boyfriend, Eugene Edward “Geno” Doak, of sexting other women.
“I really need to talk to you about something serious,” Shannon says after waking him up in bed. An irritated Doak then does his best to dodge her questions, before ultimately denying the accusations. “Shhhh don’t say nothing,” he tells her. “Those ain’t mine.”
Shannon first found out about the alleged sexting when a friend called her with the news. “There are multiple women that he’s been sending them to,” she had told Shannon.
This is the latest crisis for the WE tv star, who was arrested March 13 for alleged possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, a spokesperson for the Macon County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to PEOPLE.
Doak was also arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following the arrest, Shannon’s daughter Pumpkin, 19, shared her own statement at the start of Mama June: From Not to Hot, saying, “Hey guys, as you know, you’ve seen the stuff out in the media and our family is going through a rough patch.”
“But this year alone we have had a lot of happiness. And when my mom and Alana were out in California and everything seemed good. Then the next couple months rolled around and things took a turn,” she added. “We’re sharing our story in hopes that it helps another family and I sincerely want to thank our fans for always being there and loving and supporting us.”
While Shannon hasn’t spoken out about the cheating scandal, it doesn’t seem like she’s ready to call it quits with Geno just yet on the show. “I really want this to work, I really want our relationship to work,” she says. “But I can’t run away.”
Mama June: From Not to Hot aris Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on WE tv.
