This year NBC celebrates the legendary 90th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and NBC is ready to mark the occasion with a holiday special on Nov. 23 that will highlight the epic moments in the parade’s near centennial legacy.

The special will give an exclusive look into the parade’s history, the larger-than-life balloons, extravagant floats and the memorable musical acts that have traversed the 2.5 mile march through Manhattan year after year.

Brooke Shields, NCIS actor Scott Bakula and Mom’s Allison Janney are among the stars who will share their favorite parade memories on the hour-long special alongside current and former parade hosts Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Katie Couric, to name a few.

Viewers will also get a sneak peak at preparations for the iconic parade and festivities, which will air Thanksgiving morning.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 90th Celebration special will air Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
