“A fight between Bethenny Frankel and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is just another day in the life of The Real Housewives of New York City.

In a recent episode of the Bravo reality show, Frankel, 45, addresses an accusation that she was imitating de Lesseps – and does so by asking a series of increasingly more insulting rhetorical questions.

“I want to f— a lot of different guys? Party until 5 in the morning? Play Grey Gardens and rehab over at my friend’s house in the Upper East Side,” she asked.

De Lesseps counters by asking Frankel if she’s “getting laid.”

“You’re making up for all of us,” retorts Frankel.

“It’s not the first encounter Bethenny and I have had,” de Lesseps tells PEOPLE. “She’s blown up at me at fashion shows. We’ve been fighting kind of everywhere, so I’m kind of used to her sharp tongue, let’s call it that. I don’t stoop to that level and having a response because what she says has no truth.”

De Lesseps, who got engaged to Tom D’Agostino Jr. in February, added that Frankel may need to do a “fact check.”

“I’m marrying a single man, and she’s actually dating a married man.”

When asked if Frankel was jealous, de Lesseps said she was “very angry” but apologized for her actions.

“I know people lose their cool, and what she says has no truth and no basis,” she said.

However, when it came to Frankel’s recent health scare, her uterine fibroid condition that was first diagnosed in 2013 and needed immediate attention, de Lesseps quickly put their differences aside.

The Countess says the two were texting and she was checking in on how Frankel was feeling.

“It’s like a family. We’re a dysfunctional family,” she says. “We argue, but we still care about each other, so of course I care about Bethenny. I don’t want to see her not well.”

As for the two’s relationship now, de Lesseps teases that there’s some “redemption,” but it “remains to be seen.”

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
