Here’s to second chances – and three costume changes!

LuAnn de Lesseps will tie the knot for a second time this winter, and she’s diving head first into ironing out all the festive details.

“I eloped the first time, so I haven’t done the real wedding planning,” the Real Housewives of New York City star tells PEOPLE Now. “It’s a whole new experience for me, I’m excited about it.”

While the 51-year-old has already picked a venue, booked hotel rooms and found a caterer and florist, she hasn’t nailed down the most important wedding aspect: a dress – or, in this case, dresses.

“I’ve got three things to celebrate: it’s our wedding, it’s [fiancé Tom D’Agostino Jr.]’s birthday and it’s New Year’s Eve,” she shares. “So I’m feeling like I’m gonna go very traditional bride, and then party dress for Tom, and then glitz and glamour for New Year’s Eve.”

Of the bridal fashion moment she jokes, “Why wear one when you can wear three?”

A surprise bachelorette party is in the works for de Lesseps – an affair she hopes is “intimate and lovely” – and the bridal party is set. While Dorinda Medley will serve as the Countess’ bridesmaid, no other Housewives have officially made the invite list.

“We’ll see what happens with the reunion on who else is coming,” de Lesseps teased, later adding that her castmates “could have been a lot more supportive” of she and D’Agostino’s whirlwind romance.

With or without the women’s approval, de Lesseps is ready to be a Mrs. again. “It’s magical,” she says of her relationship. “We’re at the very beginning so it’s really beautiful.”

So beautiful, in fact, that de Lesseps has been inspired to revisit her songwriting expertise and pen an original tune for the wedding.

De Lesseps was previously married to Count Alexandre De Lesseps, 66, from 1993 to 2009. The pair share two children, son Noel and daughter Victoria.
