Terra Jolé’s first birthday party for her daughter Penny was fit for a princess.

On Sunday, the Little Women: LA star and her husband Joe Gnoffo threw a British tea party for their little girl.

“Joe and I are so blessed to celebrate this beautiful occasion,” Jolé tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Since day one, Penny has been the center of our world and the sparkle in our eyes.”

All of Penny’s guests – including Jolé’s Little Women co-stars Tonya Banks, Traci Tsou and her son Jacob – wore hats at the bash, while the birthday girl wore a dress designed for her by Mixed Up Clothing.

Digging (literally) into her cake by Savvy Cakes, “Penny was passed around more at her first birthday than the tea pots were,” jokes Jolé.

For Penny’s proud parents, the best part about the celebration was watching her eat her first cake that wasn’t pureed. “I can’t remember what life was like without her, and I don’t want to,” says Jolé.

Jolé and Gnoffo have different forms of dwarfism which lessened the chance of fatality at birth, but there “was still a chance of having a double dominant child that would not survive,” Jolé said last year after giving birth.

The newest season of Terra’s Little Family (produced by Kinetic Content) premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
