The reality star says he overcame some major jitters during his and Tori Patton's reception

When Little People, Big World star Zach Roloff prepared for his wedding to Tori Patton on Saturday, it wasn’t cold feet he was worried about.

“I’ve been in chill mode for the last week,” Roloff, 25, told PEOPLE exclusively, just ahead of his country-chic nuptials held on his parents’ farm in Hillsboro, Oregon. “Whatever happens, happens.”

And though the ceremony, which hosted nearly 200 guests, went off without a hitch, Roloff said it was his proverbial two left feet that made him nervous for the reception.

“I thought the first dance was going to be a nerve-wracking moment for me,” he said. “Anyone who follows the show knows I don’t dance. I don’t do that. I’m shy.”

But the young groom surprised himself: “It ended up being a fantastic moment, just looking into Tori’s eyes and dancing. Everything else went away.”

Added Patton, 24: “It was like we are the only two people there. It was just Zach and me.”

The wedding will air as a two-hour special on TLC on Aug. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC; the series airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
