WATCH: Jen Helps Bill Battle Through Recovery in the First Teaser for 'The Little Couple' 's New Season

Premiering May 26, the TLC new season focuses on Jen's remission, Bill's recovery from back surgery and life with two toddlers

With Jennifer Arnold entering her second cancer-free year, cameras follow the couple as they balance focusing on Bill Klein’s recovery from recent back surgery and life with their two toddlers.

“When you go through something like surgery, time is the thing that is most frustrating,” Bill, 39, says in a sneak-peek preview of the season premiere.

“I don’t want to be the person that can’t do because of my back,” he adds, “so I’ll do what it takes.”

With Jen’s help, Bill should have no problem keeping up with the couple’s two children, Will, 5, and Zoey, 3.

“We want to expose Will and Zoey to as many learning opportunities as possible,” says Jen, 41, of the kids’ latest hobbies, which include karate and ballet.

“At this age they are learning a ton, everything is exciting to them. In another year or two or three, we’ll be like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe how quickly it all went by.’ ”

For now, the foursome are enjoying the fun family time they have together.

“Thankfully they still have a whole lot of being a kid ahead of them,” says Bill. “We have a lot to be happy about.”

The Little Couple premieres May 26 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC – the same day as the release of their new book, Life Is Short (No Pun Intended).
