People.com Entertainment TV Ryan Murphy: Lea Michele and Naya Rivera Are Both Returning to 'Glee' Next Year "I always marvel at the things that most of the time are completely fabricated," Murphy says of reports of drama on set By People Staff Published on May 14, 2014 12:35 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Ray Mickshaw/FOX Everything is just peachy keen on the Glee set, according to its co-executive producer Ryan Murphy. Despite multiple reports of drama and weeks of silence from the show’s cast about the rumors, Murphy told Extra on Tuesday, “I always marvel at the things that become headline news that most of the time are completely fabricated.” More specifically, Murphy addresses Lea Michele‘s reported feud with costar Naya Rivera, who apparently got booted from the show for poor behavior on set. “I don’t think there is a story between Naya and Lea,” he said. “Naya’s coming back next year, Lea s coming back next year – anybody ever in that cast has an open invitation to come back and finish the character they so beautifully started.” Although fellow cast mates have remained mum about what’s really going on, Chris Colfer told PEOPLE last week that he finds it “really sad” to watch horrible (and many times untrue) headlines being written about his costars, explaining, “These horrible things are written about them and none of it is true, but some reporter wants to get a hit, they say so-and-so is a raging bitch.” Rachel Berry’s Glee Style Spectrum: From Good Girl to Glammed Up Related Video: Big Sean and Naya Rivera End Their Engagement
