Laverne Cox is slipping off her orange jumpsuit and stepping into a crisp suit.

The Orange Is the New Black actress has been cast as an attorney in CBS’s drama pilot Doubt, reports Variety.

According to the trade, Cox, 30, stars as Cameron Wirth, a transgender Ivy League-educated defense attorney who becomes romantically entangled with one of her clients who is charged with a brutal crime.

In 2014, Cox became the first transgender actress to be nominated for an Emmy award for her portrayal of transgender inmate Sophia Burset on Netflix’s hit show.

“I feel so blessed to be a vessel for this moment,” she told PEOPLE last year. “It’s wild because there’s a lot of haters out there, but there’s been so much love I’ve been really lucky that people have been connecting with me and my story as well.”

Grey’s Anatomy producers Tony Phelan and Joan Rater will write the script and serve as executive producers along with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.
