Between shooting MTV’s hit show The Hills, which premieres March 24, and working on her fashion line, Lauren Conrad says she doesn’t have much time for dating. But she definitely knows what she’s looking for when it comes to a first date.
“A good first date isn’t work,” She said outside the Borgata Hotel’s mur.mur nightclub in Atlantic City Saturday night. “It’s relaxed the whole time and you feel really comfortable and it’s not awkward.”
When asked about Brothers and Sisters star, Dave Annable (pictured), who she’s been spotted spending time with, Conrad quickly squashed the idea they two are dating. “No, no, no, no, no, he’s just one of my friends,” she said. “He’s a really nice guy.”
Conrad also says she’s enjoying the frequent trips to New York City that come with working in the world of fashion.
“I love visiting the east coast,” she says. “I like the weather better in California, but I like the fast-paced mentality out here.”
But the Laguna Beach alum is in no hurry to start apartment hunting in the Big Apple. “I’ve had several tell me I need to move out to New York,” she says. “I’m there like twice a month but I don’t think I’d ever permanently move.” –Kara WarnerLester Cohen/WireImage
