On Monday, Lara Spencer made her big return to Good Morning America following a right hip replacement
On Monday, the Good Morning America team welcomed back their co-host following her recent surgery. Spencer had undergone a right hip replacement on Aug. 13, after having dealt with years of chronic pain.
“I’ve missed you guys,” Spencer, 47, exclaimed while pointing to the cameras. “I am so happy to be back and these hips don’t lie baby.”
“So, how are you feeling?” asked co-host, Robin Roberts, 55.
“I’m feeling great,” she replied. “I’m feeling really well. I am walking unassisted … thank you all for your love and support. And thank you guys who wrote to me.”
The co-host then joked about not wearing heels just yet and insisted that she’s only wearing them for “the leg shots.”
“Lets just do it,” added Spencer. “Lets get back to work!”
Good Morning America airs weekdays (7–9 a.m. ET) on ABC.
