brightcove.createExperiences(); Lamar Odom and Scott Disick know that recovery is a lifelong process.

In a sneak peek at Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the two men speak candidly about their drug and alcohol abuse recovery journeys.

Odom tells of feeling “scared half to death” and feeling trapped in his own body when he woke up from a four-day coma in a Nevad hospital after his near-fatal overdose last October.

“I was super scared when I came and saw you in the hospital,” Disick, 33, tells the former NBA star. “I couldn’t handle it. I just left … I just felt like you were just dying to talk but you couldn’t and you didn’t know what to do.”

“I was, I was trapped in my body,” explains Odom, 36. “Couldn’t even say ‘excuse me’ or ‘thank you.'”

When Odom, tells Disick that he’s taking it “day by day,” Disick replies, “Trust me, I get it. I’ve been there. You know I was in rehab for a while. I didn’t have contact with the world … it was a blessing.”

Disick then says to Odom that he needs to steer clear of his old friends: “That’s the hardest part, just getting rid of all the bad people. You know what I mean?”

“I can’t really take the risk,” Odom says in agreement. “I can’t do that to [Khloé] again.”

Says Disick, “Yeah, it’s scary man.”
