Kylie Jenner, 17, Moves Into Her $2.7 Million Mansion – How Did She Pay for It?
"Don't you wish your move-in crew looked like mine?" Kylie captioned a photo of herself with her sister in her new home
On this season’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, 17-year-old Kylie Jenner vowed to move out of her family home “the second” she turned 18.
The sisters posed in a pouty-lipped photo for Kylie’s Instagram, which Kylie captioned, “Don’t you wish your move-in crew looked like mine?” They’re wearing cropped leggings and sneakers so you know they mean business.
The runners taped to the floor show that the house is move-in ready – can’t scratch that gleaming hardwood! (Or is it teak? We’re not the interior decorating experts around here.)
Kylie also posted a photo of some assorted furniture on said floor-worth-more-than-our-lives on Monday with the caption, “Project for the next two days.”
In a recent interview with InStyle U.K., Kylie revealed that her mom, Kris, “cut [her] off financially” when she was just 14 years old. However, Kylie’s not hurting for cash: A source previously told PEOPLE that “getting cut off [was] more of a technicality,” given that Kris still provided basic household necessities.
“She [had] a refrigerator full of food and all the luxuries that come with [living with] Mom but unless it was a gift, if she wanted a Chanel bag, Kylie was the one paying for it,” the source added.

“Kylie was paying her own credit card bills” while living at home, said the source, “but she was of course perfectly set up to be successful.”
