Kylie Jenner and Tyga seem to be back on – and it looks like Kris Jenner approves.

Kylie, 18, shared a Snapchat video Monday night of herself with her mom and Tyga out for dinner, belatedly celebrating the rapper’s 26th birthday.

In the clip, Kylie films a small white cake with the words “Happy Birthday Tyga” written on it while she sings “Happy Birthday” for her now on-again boyfriend.

Kris, 60, and her daughter encourage Tyga to “make a wish!”

“Make a good one and then blow it out,” Kris says before Tyga blows out all the candles.

Kris has been approving of her daughter’s relationship with the rapper in the past, and a source told PEOPLE in September that the momager “actually supports their relationship big time.”

The get-together comes as sources confirm to PEOPLE that Kylie and Tyga are back together after splitting briefly last week.

“They’re very much back on,” a source told PEOPLE on Monday. “She took him back after he begged for her forgiveness. He claimed that everything was misinterpreted and a huge misunderstanding.”

News of the split broke Friday, after Tyga celebrated his birthday Thursday night in Los Angeles without Kylie or the rest of her famous family. The Kardashian/Jenner crew also remained quiet on social media, sending no birthday wishes or messages to the rapper, whom Kylie had been dating for over a year.

Though it’s still unclear what exactly went down between the duo – or when – a source told PEOPLE on Friday that Kylie was “absolutely fuming” and planned to “erase him from her memory” after he “broke her trust.”

However, on Saturday, Kylie posted a picture of herself and the rapper lounging together with the caption “Everyone needs to chill” on Snapchat.

On Sunday, the two hit up the American Music Awards looking as in love as ever and got cozy at Justin Bieber‘s afterparty.

“Kylie and Tyga were definitely affectionate, kissing and holding hands,” an onlooker told PEOPLE. “They were nuzzling at their table and being super engaged with each other.”

Despite the PDA, it’s still unclear if all is well between the couple.

“Nothing is really set in stone. It’s kind of up in the air,” a source close to Kylie told PEOPLE Monday. “Kylie keeps throwing everybody off, including all of their friends. In theory, they’re kind of done and not going to be together, but then she’ll go and post a Snapchat of them holding hands. Everybody’s super confused by it. There’s not really an answer one way or another, but without question, the ball is in her court. Things are definitely shaky.”

“He treats her really well, but they’re not necessarily a great couple together,” the source added. “A lot of their friends love them separately, but it’s also one of those things where they might be great people as individuals, but they act differently when they’re together. They’re not as carefree.”

Though neither Kylie nor Tyga have directly addressed the breakup and/or makeup, on Monday she posted a paparazzi photo of the couple holding hands to Instagram with the caption, “Chaos.”

Kylie and Tyga began dating last fall but became much more open with their relationship in the months after the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star turned 18 in August.
