The drama between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick post-breakup continues to intensify on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

On Sunday’s episode, things between the two start off on a somewhat civil note with Disick, 32, spending time at Kourtney’s house – much to Kim Kardashian West‘s surprise, who was shocked to run into him there.

During a conversation in Kourtney’s kitchen, Kim, 35, asked Kourtney, 36, about where the relationship between the exes stands after their July split. Kourtney told Kim she wants to keep things “as normal as possible” for their three kids: Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 11 months.

Kourtney added that Disick, whose struggles with alcohol abuse and partying have been documented on the show, “goes through waves” but that he has been getting progressively worse lately every time he comes home after traveling.

“He has like two personalities, that’s the hard thing,” Kourtney said.

As Disick walked into the kitchen in the middle of their conversation, Kim’s discomfort was apparent – at one point, she even pulled a face directly at the cameras.

Throughout the episode, Kim continued to check in on Kourtney. The two hit up a bowling alley with Khloé Kardashian and Mason, and while Khloé laughed and played with her nephew, Kim again brought up the topic of Disick to Kourtney, making it clear she doesn’t think the two should get back together.

Meanwhile, Kim told her mom Kris Jenner and sister Kylie Jenner that she has to move out of her house due to construction and needs a place to stay with her husband Kanye West and their daughter North, 2.

Both Kylie, 18, and Kris, 60, made it clear neither of them were interested in having Kim as a “roommate” – but regardless, Kim eventually moved back in with Kris and much to the momager’s dismay, took over the entire garage and transformed it into her very own walk-in closet.

Though Kim insisted that she would only be living there for the next five months and would move out during the first week of December – around the time she is due to give birth to her son – Kris said that the last time Kim moved back in with her, “a couple of months turned into two years.”

Kim, meanwhile, also updated Kris on the current situation between Disick and Kourtney, and Kris said she “learned the hard way that you have to put the kids first.”

Kim agreed, saying in an on-camera interview that Disick will always be in their lives since he is the father of Kourtney’s children.

“We want him healthy and happy so that he can be in their lives as much as possible,” she said, though she also added that she “wants Kourtney to be strong” and not get back together with him.

Shortly afterwards, Kim and Kourtney were at Kris’ house talking about the new living situation and Kim yet again brought up the topic of Disick, asking why he was at Kourtney’s house the other day. Kourtney said he came over to talk about checking into rehab, but always goes back to his partying ways.

“It made it so clear whatever I do or don’t do that he’ll make anything into an excuse,” Kourtney said, who confirmed to her sister she isn’t interested in getting back with him – much to Kim’s relief.

Meanwhile, Khloé was preparing for a trip to Australia to promote the sisters’ new clothing line for children, Kardashian Kids. Since Kourtney is busy with her children and Kim is occupied with her pregnancy, Khloé must do the job solo.

Before leaving, Khloé tried to convince Kourtney to join her on the trip, but Kourtney said she couldn’t because her kids need her “now more than ever” and it would be “irresponsible” to leave them for a week. When Khloé suggested bringing them, Kourtney said she doesn’t want people to ask her “annoying questions.”

Khloé, 31, flew to Australia with her close friend Malika Haqq. The trip was exhausting, with 12-hour days of press junkets – in one day alone, Khloé spoke with over 60 media outlets.

Though Caitlyn Jenner wasn’t in the episode, Khloé kept in touch with her via FaceTiming throughout the episode and the two even joked about sex change operations.

Additionally, at one point during her trip, Khloé received a text from Disick – whom she hadn’t heard from in a month – but said she didn’t feel comfortable answering him until she spoke to Kourtney about it.

Malika, noticing how burned out Khloé was getting on the trip, continued to pressure her to talk to Kim and Kourtney about how she’s always doing all the work for them since they’re busy with their families.

After some prodding, Khloé finally agreed she would bring it up to them, saying just because she doesn’t have kids doesn’t mean she doesn’t “need ‘me time.’ ”

When Khloé returned to Los Angeles, she confronted her two sisters about how picking up the slack for them in terms of work commitments caused her to “lose everybody.”

“I have nothing anymore because I’ve done too many jobs,” Khloé said. “I don’t have time to meet people or go on dates. I just want when I want to have my fun time, if you guys could ease up on me just a little.”

The three joked that Khloé should “have a baby” of her own since it’s the best excuse for getting out of work, though in a later on-camera interview Kourtney said she understood her sister’s point and promised to pitch in more since she wants Khloé to have a personal life.

Meanwhile, Kim continued to relay her conversations with Kourtney about Disick to her mom. Kris said though she isn’t sure how to help her daughter, she does her best to pitch in with Kourtney’s kids, as does Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble, who is close with Kourtney.

While Kim said she was “over” Disick and wishes Kourtney would move on from him, Kris was determined to help him.

“I want him to find himself,” Kris said. “I want him to be a better person. He loves [his kids] and they love him and he just needs to focus on his family.”

Kris then arranged for Disick to come over to her house so they could talk. (Originally, she wanted to take him for lunch but Kourtney asked that they not go somewhere in public.)

During their conversation, Disick complained that Kourtney had sudden begun restricting his access to her house to see the kids and made a rule that Disick could only come over if he schedules a time to do so. According to Disick, Kourtney had originally said they would have an open door policy for him to come see the kids, then it became about scheduling times, and then Kourtney took the bar codes off all of his cars so he couldn’t get into the house.

Kris called Kourtney and put her on speakerphone to clear up the issue. Kourtney maintained that she set these new rules in place because Disick was always “flaking” on the kids.

“He was flaking too often, every time I tried to have him sit and have dinner with [the kids] he sits in the other room on his phone,” Kourtney said as she began to cry. “He flaked on going to the kids’ first day of school. He says, ‘I can’t go because I hate school s–t, I get anxious.’ When really he went out and partied through the next day, just like a real f–king a–hole.”

As Kardashian said her piece, Jenner wiped away tears and Disick remained silent.

Kourtney went on to explain that the kids need a parent who is “going to be present and provide them with a beneficial experience.”

“I can’t wait for the day we can all hang out together and do things as a family but he’s not at that place right now,” she continued, adding that the kids are always asking “Why does Dad leave?”

Attempting to mediate, Kris suggested that Disick go over to the house that night to put Mason and Penelope to bed.

Kourtney said that was fine, but after she hung up Disick told Kris he wouldn’t go because he was leaving to Florida in a couple of hours.

Kris, getting frustrated, advised him to “earn back the trust” that he lost.

“This is part of the price you’re going have to f—ing pay,” she said. “You really f—ed up.”

Though they remain broken up, Kourtney and Disick currently seem to have reached a healthier place in their relationship.

Disick is getting outpatient treatment from Cliffside Malibu, a luxury drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. He first checked into the clinic in mid-October, and Kourtney has brought the kids to visit their dad at the center.

A source told PEOPLE last week that Disick is “in a very healthy place, and he’s being a lot more authentic than before.”

“He used to always talk about ‘taking responsibility,’ but now it seems like he’s actually taking responsibility by trying to spend time with his kids,” the source said.
