"When you break up with someone, you don't hang out with them," Malika Haqq tells Khloé

Did Khloé Kardashian‘s best friend get in the middle of her relationship with French Montana?

French certainly thinks that’s the case.

In a sneak peek at this week’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, things get a little awkward for Khloé and French when they find themselves in the same place at the same time. When he goes to sit by her, Khloé stops him, telling him that her BFF, Malika Haqq, doesn’t want French sitting at their table.

This prompts a confrontation when French tells Malika he’s confused and not sure what he did to her. With his eyes now open to Malika’s dislike for him, French is afraid all his interactions will be affected by Khloé’s BFF.

Malika walks off, saying she doesn’t want to be involved, but then totally involves herself: “He was basically just saying I’m the reason why you and him aren’t together,” she tells Khloé. “When you break up with someone you don’t hang out with them.”

If Malika’s not responsible for the breakup, she’s certainly responsible for any post-breakup tension!

However, Khloé and French don’t appear to be too bothered by outside influences; the couple first started dating in the spring of 2014 but went through a breakup in September.

They reunited briefly, but split once again in December. It seems as if the couple has yet to hop off the merry-go-round; in March, they showed off some chaste PDA in Miami.
