Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian said it was harder than they expected to see Bruce Jenner open up about his gender transition on television once again.

The Kardashian sisters took to social media during part one of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce special Sunday night to follow along with fans and discuss what it was like to relive the moment when Jenner confronted them with news of his life-changing decision to become a female.

“Watching this back & reliving this is harder than I imagined! I’m happy we opened up and shared our journey,” Kim Kardashian West, 34, Tweeted during the broadcast.

Khloé, 30 – who expressed her hurt feelings when Jenner said he was the most concerned about his younger daughters Kylie and Kendall during the episode – wrote that they are “all transitioning.”

“I’m proud to be finally doing it together,” she added, also noting on Twitter that she was proud to see how her older sister Kim handled herself during the episode.

Kourtney, the eldest, posted an Instagram before the start of the show to remind followers to “be kind” and that “we all have a story.”

The 36-year-old wrote, “Tonight we share a part of the journey we have been on in hopes of helping others in similar situations, or simply to help make the world a less judgmental place.”

Absent from the social-media hype during the show were Kylie, 17, and Kendall, 19. The pair were busy at the Billboard Music Awards, where they introduced rapper and brother-in-law Kanye West, 37, before his performance.

The second part of Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET on E!
