This dynamic duo had endless laughs and cat puns during Wiig's hosting gig

Barbara DeDrew and Furonica are the cat ladies of our dreams.

On Saturday night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, Kate McKinnon and host Kristen Wiig donned wigs and questionable outfit selections as they portrayed two women working at a cat shelter.

At Whiskers R We, the duo showed off a few of the cats available for adoption. During the segment, the comedians poked fun at Simon Cowell, and named one of the kittens after him.

“This is Simon Cowell, because he’s a grumpy British shorthair and he knocked up his best friend’s wife,” McKinnon said.

In response to McKinnon’s explanation, Wiig as Furonica (“Like Veronica, but how a cat would say it!”) pet her coworker and said, “The heart wants what it wants.”

The hilarious segment continued with Furonica acknowledging she spent time in a “bunker” and getting handsy with McKinnon’s Barbara.

“That is my nipple and I think you know that,” Barbara told Furonica. “Keep it in your jorts, GF!”

Among the many cat puns in the four-minute-long clip, Furonica seemed particularly proud of her characterization of one kitten named Dizzy.

“Dizzy is into S&M … saucers and milk!” she said, laughing.

To conclude their cat lady fest, Wiig’s character explained how to become a part of the adoption process.

“The adoption process is simple,” she said. “We put cats in your car when you’re not looking.”

The hysterical cat lady couple ended their announcement with, “So come on down to Whiskers R We!”

Saturday Night Live airs Saturdays (11:30 p.m. ET) on NBC.
