“I haven’t watched it yet because it’s hard,” Kris, 59, exclusively told PEOPLE at the 10th Annual Brent Shapiro Foundation Summer Spectacular in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday.
With her boyfriend Corey Gamble by her side, Jenner also commented on the current status of her relationship with Caitlyn, 65, since the show was taped.
“It’s good. It’s fine. You know, it’s a process,” Jenner said. “I think everything takes a little bit of time. We’re still family. We still have kids together. And it will work itself out.”
In the meantime, Kris is happily enjoying her budding relationship with Gamble, 34, a road manager for musicians.
“We’re doing great. He’s the best,” Jenner said with a smile while holding her new beau’s hand. “We are at the Brent Shapiro Foundation dinner so that gives you a good idea of the kind of things we like to do together.”
Yes, Jenner made sure to take time out of her busy schedule to attend the event which was thrown by attorney Robert Shapiro, who lost his son Brent to a drug overdose ten years ago.
“When they lost their son, it affected all of us. Our kids were all friends back in the day. We had to stop and think, ‘It could have been any of us in their shoes’,” remembered Jenner.
“We all come from a place of great privilege, but that also brings great responsibility. I have six kids and almost five grandchildren, and I feel responsible to help any way I can,” she added.
The evening raised funds to support Brent’s Club, a sober club offered to young adults in middle school and high school in the Los Angeles area.
