Kris Jenner and Melanie Griffith Take Selfie with Dalai Lama

Actresses snag quick photo opportunity of spiritual leader

We’ve long known that the art of selfie-taking is practically a spiritual experience for the Kardashian-Jenner family, but Kris Jenner made it official this weekend.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and pal Melanie Griffith snapped a sneaky shot of the Dalai Lama on Sunday and posted it to Jenner’s Instagram.

Jenner and Griffith were among the estimated 18,000 people who attended the Global Compassion Summit at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, to mark the 80th birthday of the Nobel Peace Prize winner and spiritual leader, reports the Los Angeles Times.

“I think @melanie_griffith57 is a little excited to meet His Holiness The Dalai Lama … #turnaroundlookbehindyou#greatmorning #MelanieGriffith,” Jenner, 59, captioned her post.

In another photo, the Dalai Lama is seen front and center.

“Holiness The Dalai Lama … What an incredible honor to have sat with him this morning… #blessed#gratefulheart,” writes Jenner.

And there’s one more for the road with Jenner in a white dress and jacket and Griffith in red – both ladies wearing VIP passes.
