The man who helped turn the Kardashians into superstars is speaking out about longtime partners Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick‘s latest breakup.

Kardashian, 36, ended their relationship last week after Disick, 32, was photographed cozying up to another woman in Monte Carlo, France, and partying despite his past issues with substance abuse. He moved out of their home Thursday.

Now that he’s out of the life of the mother of his children, is he off Keeping Up with the Kardashians?

Seacrest – who created and executive produces the E! juggernaut – says not necessarily.

“The show is reality, so whatever happens, happens in real time,” Seacrest, 40, told Savannah Guthrie on the Today show Monday. “But obviously you hate to see a split with the people that you know and the family that you know and love, so hopefully things can work out for the best for them. But never a dull moment in that world.”

Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner and sister Kylie Jenner have also given their takes on the breakup.

“Kourtney’s hanging in there,” Kris, 59, said last week, while Kylie, 17, told E! News her sibling is “actually doing great,” adding, “We’re sisters, we always stick together.”

The estranged stars have been off and on again for nine years and share three kids: Mason Dash, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign Aston, 6 months.

“She is more angry and disappointed than sad,” a source close to Kardashian previously told PEOPLE. “She has been let down by Scott many times in the past, but she is done this time.”
