"The more money I have, the less happy I am," Disick admits before saying he wants to focus on what's important to him
Scott Disick is looking forward to a positive future.
In a preview for Wednesday’s Kocktails with Khloé, Disick says many people have the “wrong impression” of him.
“A lot of people think I only care about money and cars and don’t realize it’s more just about insecurities and how much I care about my friends and my family,” he tells Kocktails host Khloé Kardashian and guests Tyga, Malika Haqq, Jenna Mourey and Morgan Stewart. “I’d really rather never be in a tabloid again, but if I’m going to be, at least it be about, ‘This guy isn’t who everyone thinks he is.’ ”
Disick, 32, goes on to talk about wanting to focus on what’s truly important to him.
“People say, ‘Focus on work. focus on work. Make more money.’ I have money. The more money I have, the less happy I am,” says Disick. “The only thing I’m trying to focus on is calming down and focusing on the kids and trying to be a good dad.”
Disick has faced challenges over the past year, including his split from Kourtney Kardashian in July and a stint in rehab.
Disick is father to three children with Kourtney, 36, – sons Mason, 6, and Reign, 1, and daughter Penelope, 4.
Kocktails with Khloé, airs Wednesdays (10 p.m. ET) on FYI.
