The Dancing With the Stars contestant received support from her NFL star husband Kroy Biermann
Kim Zolciak-Biermann is back home.
The Dancing With the Stars contestant was hospitalized after having a mini stroke Wednesday, but is on the upswing. After having a final procedure on Friday, Zolciak-Biermann has been discharged.
The star tweeted the happy news Friday evening.
Earlier on Friday, star updated fans via Instagram, writing, “Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! Don’t let the oxygen scare you it’s just protocol.”
She thanked all of her fans for the support.
“I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts, comments, etc. I’m so grateful to have all of you! #TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing,” she wrote.”
Her DWTS partner Tony Dovolani lent his support for her recovery.
“After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it’s amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.”
Her DWTS competitor Gary Busey also sent his well wishes.
Zolciak-Biermann, 37, suffered a transient ischemic attack after flying home from DWTS on Wednesday.
“The left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of her from the hospital.
Dancing With the Stars airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, but Zolciak-Biermann’s future involvement is uncertain.
