Kim Zolciak-Biermann Goes in for Another Procedure After Mini Stroke as DWTS Partner Tony Dovolani Says She's 'a Fighter'
Kim Zolciak-Biermann will be getting one more procedure Friday after having a mini stroke on Wednesday.
The Dancing With the Stars contestant took to Instagram on Friday to update fans on her health situation: “Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! Don’t let the oxygen scare you it’s just protocol,” she wrote as the caption to a hospital bed selfie.
“I wanted [to] THANK all of you for the love!” she added. “I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts, comments, etc. I’m so grateful to have all of you! #TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing.”
Meanwhile, her DWTS partner Tony Dovolani is speaking out about her condition.
“After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is,” he says in a statement to PEOPLE. “Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it’s amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.”
The reality star, 37, revealed Thursday morning that she suffered a transient ischemic attack after flying home from DWTS on Wednesday.
“The left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone,” she captioned a picture of herself at the hospital, thanking her husband Kroy Biermann and eldest daughter Brielle for their “quick reactions.”
