Kim Zolciak-Biermann is enjoying her surprise birthday getaway.

The Don’t Be Tardy star took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a candid shot of herself in a white, ruffle-laden bikini as she stood in the sparkling beach water.

“Yesterday my hubby surprised me and took me to my fav spot to celebrate my birthday tomorrow,” the reality star captioned the picture. “Isn’t the ocean magnificent! It looks like a big giant pool.”

Zolciak-Biermann’s husband, NFL star Kroy Biermann, was most likely behind the camera, as the two were on a romantic beach getaway to celebrate Zolciak-Biermann’s 38th birthday (the big day is Thursday).

The star also shared a tranquil shot shot of herself in the crystalline surf, emphasizing how “blessed” she feels to celebrate another year of living after the scary stroke she suffered while competing on Dancing with the Stars and the subsequent surgery she had for a heart condition.

“It’s my birthday!! I love celebrating,” she wrote. “I have so much to celebrate this year and every year here after! My birthday got REAL special after my stroke/heart surgery. I can’t help but reflect back to this last year. I feel so blessed/grateful/thankful to turn 38 today! I have the most incredible husband and children on this planet, the most incredible friends, the most incredible fans THANK YOU.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum showed off her own photography skills just one day earlier when she shared a secret Snapchat photo of her husband wearing an itsy bitsy, teenie weenie, yellow Speedo.

“Shh! He’d kill me,” Zolciak-Biermann wrote on the photo of Biermann sipping a yellow drink by the water.

Ahead of the trip, Zolciak-Biermann shared a sweet photo of herself and Biermann to celebrate the anniversary of the day they met.

“Six years ago today I met the LOVE of my LIFE! My heart, my best friend, my babies daddy! I love you with all I have @kroybiermann and I’m so glad you chose me ” she wrote alongside the picture.

The pair, who wed in 2011, were on the tropical vacation without their six kids.

“A little getaway for my birthday!” Zolciak-Biermann said on Snapchat. “I turn 38 on Thursday.”
