Kim Kardashian West Reveals Paris Robbers Targeted Her Before October Heist — Find Out Why They Called It Off
Kim Kardashian West recounts the grueling testimony on this week's Keeping Up with the Kardashians
In a sneak peek at Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kardashian West calls up her mother Kris Jenner to recount what happened after she met with a French judge and attorneys in New York City to testify in the robbery case, in which five men broke into her apartment at the Parisian No Address Hotel during the early hours of Oct. 3, stealing millions of dollars worth of jewelry, including a $4 million ring.
The most interesting revelation from the proceedings? Kardashian West, 36, found out that the perpetrators had actually planned on robbing her during another trip to Paris prior to the October trip — but didn’t end up doing so because they found out she was with her husband Kanye West.
“So they showed me pictures of all of them,” she tells Jenner, 61. “One guy admitted to driving them, and then one inside admitted it.”
“I think it was really interesting to see the faces of everyone — just by their height and weight, I could tell who from this lineup was in the room with me,” she says. “I was able to see who confessed. One of them was the guy that was in the room with me, and it was very interesting to hear his story. It was pretty similar to my story — of course there were a few things that they’re not saying to get lesser charges. But they were pretty honest and did tell most of the story exactly how it happened.”
“It’s really interesting to see what their side of the story is,” she continues. “And to hear the background information of how they had been following me, and how they attempted to rob me the last time I was in Paris but my husband was with me.”

Kardashian West also revealed that the grueling testimony went on for eight hours.
“I was there from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.,” she tells her mother. “It was just a really long thing because you have to explain it to a translator, then the translator has to explain it to the judge. Then she writes it with the clerk, then they have to read what you wrote. You have to do it sentence by sentence.”
“Going in there, I was so worked up wanting to explain it so quickly and you just can’t do that,” she continues. “You have to be really slow and walk through the entire night, second by second. And that was just really hard.”
