At this point, Kim Kardashian West can #BreakTheInternet in her sleep, so it’s no surprise she’s finally getting officially honored for her World Wide Web-shattering skills.
The 2016 Webby Awards announced Wednesday morning that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will receive the very first “Break the Internet” Award at the annual show Monday for her “unparalleled success online.”
According to their website, the award centers on an individual with “undeniable talent and natural ability to use the Internet to create buzz, engage with fans and communities, and get the world to pay attention” – a skill Kardashian West, 35, certainly possesses by all standards.
In honor of Kardashian West’s Webby, here are five other times the reality star “broke the internet” – and yes, we know this list is far from exhaustive.
1. When she broke the internet – and coined the phrase for the very first time – posing naked for Paper magazine.
Ah, the magazine cover that sparked a thousand memes. How could we forget Kardashian West’s very shiny, very naked Paper shoot for the magazine’s winter 2014 issue? (And you can find the NSFW version here, in case you were living under a rock at the time and missed it.)
2. The nude selfies. All of them.
It’s getting hard to keep track of all the times Kardashian West has shared naked or NSFW selfies on Instagram, but particularly memorable was that naked mirror selfie in March, which prompted both a slew of imitators and a firestorm of controversy.
Kardashian West wasn’t having any of it, though, and posted another one just a day later: “#liberated,” indeed.
Oh, and there was also the pregnant nude selfie last year. Power to you, Kim.
3. When Kim Kardashian: Hollywood broke the bank.
The star’s eponymous free game app, released June 25, 2015, has made millions in revenue. (While the app itself can be downloaded for free, it makes money off advertising – and in-app purchases.)
4. The pictures she’s released of her children.
When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have a baby, the world waits with bated breath for them to reveal their child – and both times the buildup has been rather impressive.
Son Saint‘s reveal took a little longer: first, Kardashian West teased a picture of his sweet little hand before a full photograph was revealed in February, more than two months after he was born Dec. 5. (And, as predicted, Internet = broken.)
