The sisters were joined by Kanye West and cousins Kourtni and Kara on their emotional trip to the memorial site in Yerevan – which is dedicated to the estimated 1.5 million Armenians killed by the Ottoman Turks at the beginning of the 20th century.
The Kardashians, who are of Armenian descent, somberly placed bouquets of red tulips at the Tsitsernakaberd memorial’s eternal flame.
Suren Manukian, deputy director of the Genocide Institute, gave the group a personal tour of the complex, the Associated Press reports.
