Kardashian, 32, took to her website and app Thursday to post a few pieces of dating advice she would give to her younger self. The post comes on the heels of the reality star’s blossoming romance with her NBA star beau Tristan Thompson, with whom she most recently enjoyed a romantic weekend in Miami. “She’s really happy with him and they’re still having a good time together,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Things are going well between them and progressing.” So what has the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star learned about love over the years? “With age comes wisdom!” the star wrote on her website. “Some lessons you have to learn on your own and the ones that come with dating are no exception.” Her first piece of advice? “Don’t go out with someone you’re not excited about,” she says. “I was at a [barbecue] recently and a younger family friend said she went out with a guy she didn’t really like just to be nice,” recalled Kardashian. “He ended things with her and that left a bad taste in her mouth because she didn’t even want to date him in the first place. You should never have to feel obligated to go out with someone!” Up next? “Only do something you’re comfortable with,” insists Kardashian. “If you don’t want the guy to know where you live, offer to meet him at the restaurant,” she advised. “If you don’t want the pressure of going to dinner, then suggest another activity. It’s about only doing what’s within your personal comfort level and walking away from the date feeling like you had fun.” And last but not least, Kardashian says it’s important to “be secure with your decision.” “Sometimes we just do things to do them,” she admitted. “I think it takes away from the specialness of who we are. In the past few weeks, they’ve hit the town in Los Angeles for a comedy show, vacationed in Mexico over Labor Day weekend, smooched on Snapchat and cuddled up at a Drake concert. “They’re really cute,” Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner told reporters at an event on Saturday. “You know, she’s having a good time, he seems like a really nice guy.”
