Though their trip to Armenia last April was mostly punctuated by political meetings and tributes to their cultural roots, a new clip from the season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians show that – as always – there was drama bubbling beneath the Instagram-worthy surface.

In the exclusive clip, Kim Kardashian West judges her sister Khloé‘s desire to check in with now ex-husband Lamar Odom, whose erratic behavior led Khloé to file for divorce in December 2013.

“You just deserve so much better,” says Kim, 34.

Khloé, 31, says in an interview: “Lamar and I loved each other deeply, and I don’t believe in just acting like that relationship never existed. Things happened, but that doesn’t just stop me from caring about him or loving him.”

Frustrated that Kim doesn’t understand her need to check in on her ex’s well-being, Khloé then tells Kim: “I don’t ever come at you about all your trifling s— that you used to do until you got married, so take a chill pill, slore.”
