On Sunday, the reality star took to Twitter to defend herself after comedian Amy Schumer mocked the Kardashian women while hosting Saturday Night Live – and specifically commented on Khloé Kardashian’s recent weight loss.
“No need 2 tear down others just to make urself feel bigger,” Kardashian tweeted, though she did not directly indicate whether the message was aimed at Schumer. “It actually makes u quite small. I’m on a healthy journey. I don’t care 4the hate.”
In a second tweet, Kardashian wrote: “Let’s uplift one another!!! Happy Sunday! Stay smiling!!!”
During her opening monologue on Saturday, Schumer said the world needs more role models for little girls because “who do they have? All they have, literally, is the Kardashians.”
“Is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women who take the faces they were born with as like, a light suggestion?” Schumer said.
“We used to have Khloé. Khloé was ours, right?” Schumer continued. “Whenever there’s a group of women, you identify with one of them, right? But Khloé – she lost half her body weight.”
Schumer went on to joke that Kardashian “lost a Kendall” of body weight, in reference to Kardashian’s younger sister, 19-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner.
Kardashian recently revealed that she has lost 35 lbs.
“Khloé gives as much to the gym as the gym gives to her,” her trainer Gunnar Peterson told PEOPLE in August. “She’s in love with fitness.”
On Monday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star tweeted a picture of herself working out.
“Working in my fitness with @gunnarfitness. #BeastMode #KhloFit,” Kardashian wrote.
