The reality star has kept a constant vigil by the former NBA star's side as he recovers in a Los Angeles hospital
Khloé Kardashian is breaking her silence about her bedside vigil after Lamar Odom was found unconscious. Subscribe now for this exclusive interview, only in PEOPLE!
“It’s out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that’s not in our thought process right now,” Kardashian says exclusively in this week’s issue of PEOPLE. “There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It’s not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now.”
Odom, 35, was found unconscious in Nevada on Oct. 13 following a drug overdose. He was in a coma for four days and then was transferred to an L.A. hospital on Oct. 19; Kardashian has not left his side throughout.
“It’s not anything sexual or intimate,” says the Keeping up with the Kardashians star, 31, of the present situation. “I want to be his support system. Tragedy does make you reassess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it’s the same, except I’m here supporting him fully.”

With regard to pulling back on finalizing the divorce, “there is no rush,” says Kardashian, who has been dating Houston Rockets player James Harden, 26. “I’m not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody. It’s just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it’s just smarter that gets on hold for a minute. But that does not mean I’m back with Lamar. That’s a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can’t tell you what tomorrow brings.”
