People.com Entertainment TV Khloé Kardashian Opens Up About Cheating Scandal: 'They're Sorry Because They Got Caught' Last week it was revealed that Tristan Thompson allegedly hooked up with Kylie Jenner's best friend Jordyn Woods By Robyn Merrett Published on February 28, 2019 06:38 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Khloé Kardashian isn’t buying any of the excuses offered up by Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson following their alleged affair. On Thursday, just a week after it was revealed that Kardashian, 34, and Thompson, 27, split after the NBA baller allegedly hooked up with Woods, 21, Kardashian opened up about the scandal and how she didn’t “deserve” what happened. “Remember: they cheated because they wanted to, they lied because they could, and now they’re sorry because they got caught,” read a quote Kardashian shared on her Instagram Stories. “It’s always about them. You did nothing to cause or deserve it.” Khloe Kardashian/Instagram As for how the Revenge Body star is coping with the alleged incident — Kardashian is channeling her stress into fitness. Also on Thursday, Kardashian shared a shot of her at home gym, writing the word “therapy” over the photo. The post comes just one day after the reality star indulged in some retail therapy. On Wednesday, Kardashian was spotted solo at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. That same day, her ex Thompson was spotted in New York City ahead of his team the Cleveland Cavaliers’ game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Thursday. Thompson was photographed leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in midtown to head out to dinner. He was dressed casually for the meal, staying warm from the cool East Coast weather in black sweatpants, a matching hoodie, and a padded jacket. He later shared a video on Instagram of himself and his teammates drinking wine. Michael Tullberg/WireImage After news of the scandal broke earlier this month, Thompson tweeted a post saying, “FAKE NEWS,” seemingly denying the incident. That tweet, though, was later deleted. Woods has remained silent on the alleged affair, but the model is scheduled to appear on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Talk Facebook Watch show Friday, presumably to address the hookup. A representative for Woods did not comment when contacted by PEOPLE. Tristan Thompson/Instagram A source previously told PEOPLE that Woods had claimed she had drunk heavily that night of the alleged hookup with Thompson but she immediately knew she made a mistake.
