Khloé Kardashian Posts About Convincing Her Mind to 'Let Go' After 'Painful' Cheating Scandal

The emotional post comes after Jordyn Woods' tell-all interview about her hookup with Tristan Thompson

Khloé Kardashian wants to move on.

On Tuesday night, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted two emotional poems on her Instagram Story, both seemingly in reference to her relationship with Tristan Thompson. The posts come less than a week after family friend Jordyn Woods‘ tell-all interview in which she claimed Thompson kissed her at an afterparty at his house last month.

The first is titled “The Truth About Your Heart” by Nikita Gill: “Your heart will fix itself. It’s your mind you need to worry about,” begins the poem. “Your mind where you locked the memories, your mind where you have kept pieces of the ones that hurt you, that still cut you like shards of glass.”

“Your mind will keep you up at night, make you cry, destroy you over and over again,” the poem continues. “You need to convince your mind that it has to let go…because your heart already knows how to heal.”

In another slide, Kardashian, 34, posted a second poem by Gill: “The saddest word in the whole wide world is the world almost. He was almost in love. She was almost too good for him. He almost stopped her. She almost waited. He almost lived. They almost made it.”

Immediately after Woods, 21, shared her side of the story on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Facebook Watch talk show, Red Table Talk, last week, Kardashian slammed the model on Twitter, accusing her of “lying” and blaming her for breaking up her family with Thompson. (They share 11-month-old daughter True.)

A day later, Kardashian softened her tone, placing the blame instead on Thompson, 27, who was first caught allegedly cheating on her last April when photos and videos surfaced of him getting close to other women just days before she gave birth to their daughter.

Though she initially forgave him, they had been living apart since the fall, and a source recently told PEOPLE that things “never really went back to normal” between the couple.

“This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have,” Kardashian tweeted on Saturday. “Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.”

“What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault,” she continued. (Woods is Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner‘s longtime best friend.)

“I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True,” she concluded.

A source told PEOPLE that Kardashian’s famous family members are doing their best to support her, particularly sister Kim Kardashian West, who is “livid.”

“She’s so angry and she’s 100 percent on Khloé’s side,” the source said. “She’s there for Khloé, letting her vent and talk about it. They’ve been in constant contact, and Kim is totally supportive.”

“Guys may come and go, but the bond between the girls is never going away,” the source added. “And they’re committed to supporting each other.”
